Custom ERP Eliminated 40% of Admin Overhead for a Regional Contractor

Client: Regional General Contractor

40%
Admin Overhead Reduced
Faster Financial Reporting
14 Days
Payment Cycle (from 45)

The Problem

A regional general contractor managing 15–20 active projects simultaneously was using three different software systems plus multiple spreadsheets to track job costing, project schedules, and subcontractor payments. The disconnected systems meant that financial reporting was always lagging — job cost reports were at least two weeks behind reality, making it impossible to catch cost overruns before they became critical.

Our Solution

We designed and built a unified ERP platform that connected job costing, project scheduling, subcontractor management, and accounts payable into a single real-time system. Field foremen access the system on mobile devices to enter labor hours, material receipts, and daily logs directly from the job site — eliminating the daily data transfer bottleneck. The platform includes automated subcontractor payment workflows that cut the payment cycle from 45 days to 14 days.

The Result

The contractor eliminated two administrative positions, reduced their financial reporting cycle from two weeks to same-day, and achieved real-time job cost visibility across all active projects. The system paid for itself within eight months of go-live.
